BoJo episode 2 (this time it's personal)

I will guarantee that there are many Labour employees working night and day to come up with a manifesto at the minute.

They won't need one as it stands; protest votes will get them elected.

I thought Boris did pretty well, until he got caught out anyway!

But giving him the job back would be like admitting he should never have gone which would just be wrong.

Never thought Liz was up to it, and she soon proved that! Don't like the idea of Penny Mordaunt either, but then we have no say in it anyway. :(

Eating cake on your birthday. Serious stuff and definitely a sackable offence
Or put another way:
Breaking his own rules that HE put in place, as he was the PM so the buck stops there, while thousands of people died frightened and alone because their relatives were not allowed anywhere near them due to the rules that HE put in place.

Then not giving a sh*t and lying to everybody.

Unforgiveable; but hey never mind. Come back all is forgiven! :x

+1

Christ, I’m getting worried about myself, I’ve agreed 100% with you TWICE, in the one bloody thread :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:

Much as I can see the potential entertainment value of 'PartyGate II: The Return of BoJo', the comment below seems to accurately encapsulate the reaction of many people...

You follow the MSM too much. Boris and Sunak were attending the cabinet office for a pre planned meeting. Unknown to them his wife and staff who were also attending the meeting presented him with a birthday cake.

I seem to recall Starmer using the defence of his curry and beer being a work event. Funny how his case was a break between work meetings and Boris not

Agreed on the second part, mate. I'm not going to apologise for caring about this; it's important. It's gone beyond politics IMHO, it's about our (and our kids') futures at the minute. The damage being done hourly could last decades.

As to doubling my post count; even Boris would struggle! :D

The met spent £500,000 (God knows how) investigating this debacle. Boris and Co were guilty and I don't give two shites about Starmer as he wasn't in charge (then).

True but Starmer was all over the media saying how whiter than white he was and hammering Boris for breaching the rules. Hypocrisy springs to mind.

Most excellent.
The difference between Boris and Starmer, the police decided that Boris’s broke his own rules and Starmer did not. Nanu, the more you post, the more you remind me of either a nut-job conspiracy theorist or a modern day William Joyce

I seem to recall that legislation applies to all subjects? I don’t think you will be able to find a section in the Covid or any other legislation for that matter that states the rules only apply to those that make or pass the rules into law and nobody else.

I also recall that Starmer and the Labour Party voted for the legislation HE also broke.

[ref]Nanu[/ref], That’s the point, regardless of your own conspiracy theories, Boris was charged and fined for breaking the rules of social gatherings during lockdown, whereas Starmer was investigated, but no charges were brought. He also stated that if he was charged he would resign.

I’m not sure that the above translated well from the thoughts in your head to the your actual post :D What has the 2021 or 2022 WDC have to do with Boris?

and I trust neither of them, Boris says what he thinks you want to hear, regardless of what he believes, and the FIA are in business to make money and will say or do anything that promotes their business goals, just look at the overspend chaos completely self inflicted.
