Body panel material on the Zed

Out of interest, whats the body made of?

Bonnet seems aluminum based, side skirts plastic?

Skirts and both bumpers are plastic. Bonnet is aluminium as you say... The boot, all four wings and doors are metal... I assume they are aluminium too ?

use a small magnet on the panels. if it attrcts to the panel its a steels panel. of not its an aluminium bonnet orplastic panels
