-Shade? What is shade?

If anyone does bring a popup, make SURE that you have cords and weights to keep it from flying into someone's car if the wind picks up - which it usually does in the afternoon.

The dining hall is air conditioned, for what that's worth.

I'm bringing a small one (8x8 canopy) that fits in the back of a Z. I also have a larger 10x10 that fits in place of a passenger (or in the back of a 5er) if anyone who is going up there solo wants to pick it up.

Just remember that the bio mass between the steering wheel and the pedal makes important choices. I will not be featured in any pics of mishaps. :roll:

OK clean airfilter, tire pressure correct checked oil and coolent, checked lug nuts at 84 ft/pounds, de junk inside car and trunk I'm ready.

Gah hot even at home


only got up to 109 at the track today.

Did four 20 mins sessions before the gas was gone.

Will post pictures when I get hydrated maybe by tomorrow.


Thanks to Earl and Bob for getting us some track time.

Fun getting to run the car at 10/10th in a safe place.

I'd like to say, made it home safe & sound in 3hrs 24 minutes. Traffic was mostly heavy but mostly free flowing on the 15. Everything else was clear and Vegas city traffic was crazy clear. Now I'm jittery and slightly shaky from a 5hr energy and being wore out. I had a 1:46 something time but methinks brain will shut down soon. I'll post tommorow when I'm hydrated/awake. Kept all 4 wheels clean :poke: , although as I'm driving off the track I notice I now have a slight/moderate brake judder. Unsure if it's pad material or if the rotors are warped. They both have several track events so sounds like an excuse to upgrade :D

-You have pad transfer (you should be able to see blotching on your rotors). Drive it for a week or two and your pads should grind it off.

p.s. Working on pics...
 
Yeah I did notice some blotching. Of course this is the 3rd or maybe 4th track event on these ULT pads, so might be time at any rate for new ones.
