Looks a great day out guys

What forums do the other z4 owners / enthusiasts use??

Gaz Hyde has a great Forum building up - zroadster.org. More 4's joining in now to balance the 3's out a bit. Good banter and really good people - not that there aren't on here too by the way.

Were on our way home now just stopped at a service station in Stafford. About 150 miles to go.

Such an awesome experience this weekend showing the car would def do it again. Had lots of people coming over and talking today showed a lot round the car and think I made a few converts :)

I think it helped being outside the main BMW tent today we were just across from where the M5 was on its pedestal. So loads of traffic some great people and awesome races. The group C cars came out after being canceled and those things are incredible the jag silk cut was a rocket put a minute between itself and second! Amazing! Also the classic formula 1 cars!

Although it's been a long long weekend me and dad are both shattered. Next year def making it more than Fri night and sun night job, maybe have Mon and fri off so we can relax a bit.

I've got about 3000 pics from this weekend, might take a while to sort but got a lot of everything! Made sure I got a lot for machine monkey :) so bare with! :)

Again really nice to see everyone! Had really good banter with the z4 forum regs and met a few great new people that I hope to see again!

:)

Great photos guys and what looks like a truly amazing weekend. If Im with-Zed next year I'll be coming to the next one for sure!

It'll never catch on with a name like that! :poke: :D

Don't be like that. I'm sure there's a forum just for the tintops. Ragtop owners need to seek solace in the company of others to share their tales of woe when the motors give up or the roof starts to leak, or the wind noise, or the stretch marks on the rooftop, or...... you don't know what we have to go through. :)

If you want you can always access the site through zcoupe.co.uk, zcoupe.net, zcoupe.org or zcoupe.org.uk :poke:

Been reflecting on the day we had on Saturday great to see so many Zeds and meeting a few owners. Great credit to all the forum organisers and bmwcc not forgetting BMW for the hospitality . I think I preferred it to the festival of speed. :driving:

Stuart, that race was the one my friend was racing in and when we were on the pit wall. His car was No. 27 and he qualified first but finished 3rd and blew the engine on the finish line, 120k for a new Mazer engine apparently :headbang:

Some nice pics!

Really like that spitfire image RedSox! Awesome stuff!

Back home at 8pm tonight - a 700 mile round trip and we both had a great time. Stayed to watch the 1000+ 911 parade - it was quite a site but slow - big dissapointment that we couldn't have the zed parade lap but as others have said there was no option in those conditions.

Enjoyed some forum company at the buffet last night too.

Big thanks to all who helped such as Stewart with his gazebo, Alice with her cup cakes, Bing with his multiple flippers & mustard etc. Good to meet some forum regulars who we don't get to meet this far north including Taz (great banner), markeg, Ruby, Neil(great colour), tomscott & dad and plenty others - though we missed some names - sorry !

Really enjoyed today too - fab to get into he paddock, rummaging around loads of historic cars. Really think it's worth the weekend to see a range of stuff going on and will do again next year (if parade lap happening) and try to get more Scots down! Motoring highlights had to include the Lambos.

Didn't take the infield parking today as didn't want to get caught up in the 911 stampede - that worked well. Will try and post some pics tomorrow. :driving: :driving:

Was really good to meet you and the wife Jaxz4

How mental was that 911 parade!?

Heres a quick iPhone pic I took, this was only about half the parade it was further than the eye could see, all the way under the bridge where the drag races were taking place, all the way round the corner to the start of the track where all the Z4/Z3/Z1 and Z8s were last year, and the whole field! So much you couldn't take it in!

This was where we were parked up today :D

Those pics with the 70-200mm came out really well too nice one! Also thanks for the pic of me and dad that was really nice of you. Was again really good to see you and to meet your co driver. Good banter while we waited for the parade
