BMWCCGB Zedfest, 26 – 28 July 2013, Silverstone Circuit

I had a great time yesterday as did my mate Stuart who accompanied me. Lovely to catch up with people and to meet some new faces although didn't get to see as many of you as I'd of liked to. You really are a lovely bunch! :thumbsup:

Shame about the Parade Lap but it was the right decision. The rain was biblical as Bing, Tom and I left the circuit and the conditions were very nasty on the M1 for a while. Hope you all made it back safe and sound.

I'll add a load of pictures. I've uploaded 148 to photobucket. Not sure whether to add a small number to this thread or do a separate one. I'll do them later this evening.

Hopefully we'll have a new member to the forum as well. We picked up a solo zed at the BP services as we were gathering and he convoyed in with us :thumbsup:

Someone appears to have dunked me in boiling water for I am pink...
 
Just seen the 911 parade that was getting ready! Never seen so many in my life they're trying to break the record with 911 cars but there must be 1300-1500 insane!

Rumour had it Tom had taken 2,000 by yesterday :o

I'll sort through our pics later and try and get them up this evening.

Oh, and how could I forget Miss Truman's cupcakes ! Simply perfect :thumbsup:
 
Just thinking of those cakes now & how nice to have with a cup of coffee... can we have the recipe or is it mail order only?
 
Just got home! want to say a big thank you to you all, especially the organisers and also bing for the food, was great to finally meet some of you off here :thumbsup: we had an awsome day, sorry i wasn't very sociable in the afternoon i'd forgotten my hayfever tablets and thought i was going to die!!! cant wait for the next show/meet, cars dirty again now :headbang:
 
You were just fine when I chatted to u & yr other half Neil, that colour's even better than the pics... did u ever tell everyone else who gets to drive the Zed most of the time?
