Ace day! Apart from the parade being cancelled. A shame, but you can't bank on the weather I suppose!

the helicopter ride - everyone seemed to agree that it was worth it - especially that we got some discount PLUS 1 ticket free :)

Was a great day out! I got sunburnt a bit too as did the bf. Was his first car event and he really enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone for making it happen and was lovely to see you all again and meet some new faces. Shame about the parade lap but the day overall was so good. You're all such a nice bunch :thumbsup: pics to follow...
 
Just got back - braved the rain for the GunsNRoses Experience! Got a two day ticket so going back tomorrow - is there a cruise from the Holiday Inn again - if there is can anyone confirm time of departure? :thumbsup:

Great day- nice to be back out with the forum after long time away. Great to see some old faces and to meet some really nice new people! Awesome day- sunburnt and drenched- only in the UK haha! Roll on next meet.

Just got back half an hour ago - travelled through some truly frightening weather on the way back though and saw a couple of nasty single car accidents :o

It was fantastic to meet everyone, new folks and those we've met before. Despite the parade lap being rained off right at the last moment the weather was great all day and the team effort at lunch was ace. Wee Bing even popped his BBQ chef cherry with great aplomb and managed not to poison anyone :D

Stuart - Mrs B is a little disapproving of WBs t-shirt purchase :rofl:
