Without reading through the whole thread, does anyone know if the above has been confirmed yet? Would love a lap (ok a slow parade one!) at Silverstone. But I'm guessing this would be on the busier, more popular Saturday...

I can only actually make the Sunday...I asked earlier but not sure if it's worth coming on the Sunday? Will many of you still be there then and will it still be fun and worth while?
 
Woody, last year most people were there on the Sarurday, which is when the parade lap was. I assume the same will be true this year but a parade lap is not yet confirmed. Hope they don't do it on Friday or Sunday if we have all bought tickets for Saturday.

The parade lap was far from slow, at least the first 50% of it...

So I'm assuming you won't be there on Sunday Bing and by the sounds of it when you 'we have all' not many others will be either...plus I'll miss the possible parade lap too. I'm on holiday from the 20th-27th, not returning till late evening so can definitely only do Sunday. Fiddlesticks!
 
I haven't bought my tickets yet Woody, but likely to be Saturday only, yes :(
 
Don't our tickets get us into the paddock ? I didn't go last time and try, but... Pit Girls Taz :wink:

who needs pit girls, we have carol, ruby and sars (alphabetical order)

lol you cnn guarantee the pit girls will NOT be in the last bit interested in any of us or what we have to say.....once they've finished in the day then wil go home, take off their heels, shag their boyfriends, have a bath, wipe off their makeup and stick their pj's on....
they will not want to hang around with a bunch of car saddos...

ha goodwood festival, we got very friendly with the aviation promo girs dressed as old school air hostesses...even though we were in uniform (the senior rates in full number ones with 20 years of medals on show) no amount of persuasion would make them stay much longer after the corporate bbq....
"yeh were tired we got up at 5 to have makeup and we live an hour away" etcetc
they were hot though...
