Cam someone get absolute confirmation that we need to be there for 9.30 - that's a bloody early start time when I've got three women to corral. Does it say something like that on the tickets ( think mine may have been close but Royal Snail have taken them hostage in their not so local sorting office)

Tony, yes I'm afraid we do because we are infield and they want as little traffic manoeuvring as possible. I think track action starts at 10.00am as well.

Make them pack the night before and lock them in the cars

It says othe sticker for the windscreen "No infield movement between 1000-1700"... And says on the car club infield display instructions to arrive at the venue before 0930

There was a plan to meet at Northampton services on another thread. We still doing that ?

Bing - I'm staying over in Bicester on the Friday night so I think I'll just head straight for the circuit and try and find you guys. Should be pretty easy because most of the Z4's will have signed up off this forum I'd guess.

I won't be able to make this....work came up

Did you have a ticket mate? I booked but the transaction just stalled online so I don't know whether I am booked or not. I'd be happy to buy your ticket....

Sorry no, I never got around to booking

So I'd now like Stuart Truman behind me with a GoPro, and you in front of me providing a soundtrack to die for Jonny

Are you still doing this? I'm not sure whether to head up the M40, only 2 miles shorter all in but miss the roadworks of the M1.

Normally it would be easy to meet up, just keep your eyes open for another Z4, don't think it will work this time

Luckily I know a lot of you ugly mugs though so hopefully only a matter of time before we find each other.

And don't forget your driving licences.

srhutch, M40 is a bit more of a stretch for me I think - need to check. Jembo and I are going north round the M25 at this point in time, didn't know about the roadworks on the M1, been ages since I was up that way. Perhaps needs a rethink :?

Will let you know what we come up with

EDIT - M40 is only 5 miles more, and 3mins less :o Will have a chat with Jembo, though it'll be longer for him I think...

Cheers mate - might have to find camping for Friday too (and half day holiday to make the best of it!)

EDIT : Camping now booked at nearby site - 150 miles before a 9 arrival time (allowing 30 mins to find the right gate etc.) felt a bit much - now only 20 mins away :)

Yes very long stretches of 50 mph on M1 23km. If you fancey meeting up at Beaconfield services and then blast up M40, could be more fun than the M1

do we have any figures of how many zeds are going?

page 1 would suggest they will be well short of their of 500 target

Steve, what time would you be thinking of leaving Beaconsfield if you decide to go that way? I'll be going from my parents' house in Beaconsfield so I might be up for meeting and going in convoy. There would be a Z3 that's only a 2.2l with us too, so we'd have to be drive nicely

I just checked google maps and it's around 1h 11 minutes in current traffic, so if that's accurate we'd probably have to leave by 0730h latest as there's bound to be trafffic near the circuit.
