Silverstone have advised the club that ALL drivers participating in the parade lap MUST show their driving licence. Don't forget to bring yours!

I'm checking that now but would make sense to take both to avoid any hiccups.
 
Myredzed - do you know what time the 'gates' open at SS for those traveling on the day can plan departure/meet times?

Are there specific 'gates' that we have to head for to get into the inner circle?

What time is the planned 'Z drive' on the track?

Sorry to ask so many questions - maybe these will be answered when we get our tickets!

The ticket deadline has been extended again by the BMWCCGB

This will be the final extension, and should be availble until the 30th if I remember correctly. If I was you, I really would not hang around this time! Final chance...

Just to confirm that I will post final details when we have them from Silverstone. For planning purposes it's probably safe to assume that gates will open at 7.30am and that we all need to be in by 9.30am. The parade lap is scheduled for the lunchtime break in the racing programme, so that's probably around midday sometime. As I said, I will keep the thread updated when I have confirmed details (that's why I've been a bit reluctant to post earlier)
 
Thanks 'myredzed' - didn't want to jump the gun but we are trying to arrange several Z's meeting up on the way.

Now that we have a 2 hour window we can plan around that.

Obviously we will keep an eye out for your 'final details'

Nope, I ordered mine ages ago, so maybe they are issuing in order... It was just a notification with the Royal Mail tracking number. Jembo bought the microfibre cloths he promised today too :wink:
 
Ordered mine back in January nothing as yet so should be anytime soon :thumbsup:
It seemed a long way off when i first ordered but it's not long now can't wait :yeah:
