Bing, a grinder app for Zed's, my other half will take the piss more than she already does. There's likely to be some BMWCCGB tent or flagpole, so suggest all notionally agree to look decidedly dodgy, hang out there @ 12 noon & if you're really worried wear a Tazmanian Devil badge... Let that b the secret sign... WDYT?

Committees - Nothing destroys an idea faster than a mandatory concensus - lets go for Keith Lemon, then least the three of us might have chance of either recognising each other or getting punched in the face...

:driving: Contrary to our earlier information the Silverstone organisers have now confirmed that, subject to NO late problems in event timing, the parade lap will take place at lunchtime.

Approx 250 now - not all those with tickets are registered on forums so we have to get the number from Silverstone, that's why you'll see a discrepancy with the number on the first post.

'fraid not Taz. The access to the parade lap holding area is via the BMWCCGB display area so it looks like the only option is to make a day of it. Go on, you know you want to! :poke:

For us Sussex/Kent folk how about meeting up at the services at the bottom of the M40 (J2 Beaconsfield)

Yup, taking Wee Bing, meeting up with Jembo early in Kent then up the M20 and round the top I suspect. There is another thread about meeting up at Northampton services before going the long way to Silverstone en masse.
 
Which day is the parade lap? (too lazy to read back through all this) I have a day pass from SWMBO and will likely travel up with a chum from work, or another Petrolhead friend as shotgun
