Jembo - great pics mate, and a view of the track that was only 75m in front of me :D

We should've overtaken that Alpina though :headbang:

Jembo, great pics - do you know who was in the red Alpina?

It was lovely... Except for the reasonably silly eyelids on the lights. Not a fan. The driver was a lady.

The first thing I need to do is write to the Oxford English dictionary to redefine the phrase 'Parade Lap'

My son said don't go nutts dad, so kept it rapid without any scares, though was expecting to find the pace car round the next bend.......... obvious now why none of our insurers would cover us ... Plus interesting to find that pace car in the distance in my mirrors after I was poodling behind that Red Alpina

As for 'that' Red Alpina', vid again for anyone who missed it as was embedded in earlier photos, not got a clue who they were...

probably a blessing in disguise as the Red Mist was starting to descend & my son was getting nervous... coz he knew what was coming

Anyone know of a link to Starks and two Z3 coup ,drag race at the back off the parade lap . I watched it in my rear view mirror . Funny as hell watching the steward telling off the coup driver right next to my car :D

Did you see the Estoril M Coupe doughnutting before that? Wanted to join in, but thought better to maintain an air of dignity

Looks like a good day and one I shouldnt miss next year. Loved that long line of Z3MC breadvans on the video!

Hey jembo it's not the parade lap your should be worried about its your choice off music  started off well than got very dodgy

I will put mine up later, in a couple of batches... Out of the 500 taken by Wee Bing and I there are about 50 worth sticking up

Parade lap on YouTube.

Really like the video as I'm in it at the start. Then all you see is me go shooom and I'm gone lol

Yes Taz, a lot of us overcooked that long corner!

+1 on all comments! Wish I'd been in third on that tight corner :) Graham the co-pilot has a Caterham track toy and was egging me on

I downloaded some editing software so will upload today

Jembo, Wee Bing obviously needs to take lessons from his elder namesake - he was desperate for us to overtake the Alpina, and less than impressed when I cited the rules about no overtaking :D

Eyelids? not a mod I'd consider.....

It spoiled the car. Considering the age of the owner (late fifties?) I was surprised. There were 5 Alpinas there I think. One Stirling, two black, one red and mine

I saw the evidence as we came in!

We all need to do a better job of a meet up next time, I missed so many people. The bmwccgb stand and the Alpina register area was a swamp. They had a BBQ though!

Anyone doing the bmwccgb Gaydon day?

Just to keep you all going, some non-Z photos for you. Wee Bing wanted to make sure that anyone not there had the opportunity to see every signle inch of the Radical SR3SL that was there, so took some progressive photos :D
