6 pages to say "don't buy one", how'd they manage that? :fuelfire:
It's only one page to say 'don't buy one', the first five pages are used to explain the horrendous depreciation

I've got the mag but haven't read it yet, can't believe they say don't buy one? & as for depreciation majority of cars do that so what's new!

Perhaps the two comments made above were not meant to be taken that seriously....

I really like the E89 & you lot are trying to put me off it! ...think I better read the article to get the official facts then

I love mine...here is my buyers guide...

Nip to your local BMW dealer. Find a sales person, get them to let you have a play in one.

buy one...keep tutting and saying no until the discount makes you smile then give them some money.

Wait...it shouldn't be too long.

Nip back with a bag of cash and collect your new toy.

Drive about with a big grin on your face, in 2/3/4 years take it back and repeat.

easy!

Very good!

Love mine as well, never went for the old model, I just wanted the E89, which says it all :D

I thought it was well balanced decent write up in the mag, no real horror stories and a sound used buy :)

Tim.

I think the E89 with the right stance, spec & shoes looks stunning :)
However the E85/E86 with the right stance, spec & shoes looks equally good for half the ££££ :poke: :driving:

That's exactly what it is, old! :poke:

I just wished they had stuck the V8 from the M3 into the E89 as I can't see the point of only using that engine in one model. :driving:

Classic!

I've been more than happy with both of my e89's, no problems at all to speak of. I was going to buy a coupe until I saw the e89 had the best of both worlds and a nicer interior, that itch has now been scratched..... but I still love the coupe shape!
