Ideal to replace a cracked one and have a spare .
The rear wheel is in its original box I sold the car before I used them .

To be honest I think you'll find 296's a tough sell on the forum as they have such a poor reputation for cracking. I ended up weighing a set in for scrap because of it. Fortunately I was lucky and got a brand new set of 313's with tyres for £1000.

I'd say your best bet is eBay.

Still for sale ! thought these would sell as great upgrade for your Z . One of the rear wheels is brand new shame they dont fit the Porsche .

Hi any idea why my wheels wont sell ?
No cracks
No buckles
No repairs
1 of the rears is brand new bought last year from BMW , unfortunately had to give a main dealer the car back due to major faults ! P9110112.JPGP9110111.JPGP9110110.JPGP9110109.JPG

Hi, I should think their poor reputation for cracking doesn’t help any sales prospects-they’ve got to be priced low to sell imho! :(

I have them on my recently purchased e89, and they are a nice looking wheel.
the previous owner had replaced one rear due to cracking, but on the potholed roads, especially if its a daily on runflats, there is a risk of cracking.
I intend removing the runflats in the not to distant future, but I only use as a weekender, and can choose the better roads for a jolly.
to the best of my knowledge, once runflats are removed and the right tyres are fitted, the risk is reduced.
I don't think its just the 296, also 326 and probably others.
if I had spare cash, I would possibly take the new wheel at a keen price assuming its a rear, as handy to have a spare.
but have to replace the runflats first, which is a more important use of my cash.
glws, but unfortunately, people, unless in my situation, are wary of buying a set of wheels spending hundreds, when they can opt for something with less risk involved.

Hi thanks yes the new one is a rear wheel ! I just wished I new before splashing out on a new one . I also wished the car I bought had not been a dog from a main dealer !

Your issue isn't necessarily that they crack too easy as once right tyres right pressures are applied no reason why they are any more prone to crack than other BMW factory 19s.
You effectively have a mismatched set so the wheel needing refurb would have to be diamond cut / polished  that ain't cheap (£100/120ish?)
You are asking £650 I believe? That buys a brand new boxed set of quality 19s so being blunt the answer to your question is "overpriced" :( £400/£450 might get some interest.

Hi is it worth getting the wheel done ? can get it refurbished for £90 .
I dont really want to split them up but can get £350 for the new rear on ebay .

I would get the wheel done so 4 match ready for tyres & I'd expect you to see £650 on ebay for the set.
Many are put off by potential costs of refurb on diamond cut.
Splitting the set sounds appealing but could be a long while to sell all four or even 3 & rears go first so you might pull back £500ish there with the 2 if you don't refurb the scabby one? £350 for the new one sounds good but will it happen?
Your conundrum

That's what I don't want to happen left with 3!
I am looking for £650 but open to offers ads on here.
I really want to refurb them then get silly offers.
