Some more pictures of the new Race backing plate with a few duct options.

The previously posted single 3" duct.

The same duct but in 2,5" which could be used with my universal caliper cooling bracket/duct along with the upcoming front bumper duct with dual 2,5" outlets.

A picture of my universal 2,5" caliper cooling bracket/duct.

And a picture of it installed (installs with the same bolts as the caliper = red arrows).

This a duct with dual 2,5" inlets which preferably should be paired with the upcoming front bumper duct with dual 2,5" outlets.

Lastly a picture of the ABS-sensor cover in relation to the hub/wheel bearing.

Bump for fantastic product. For anyone that tracks their M, don’t sleep on these! Retrofitting brake cooling used to be such a PITA but this kit made everything easy. My single 2.5 inch kit is awesome. Full write up here.

I've got an earlier kit of yours Op, any chance you could sell just the new brake backing plate with duct and and shroud? I've got the bumper ducts already abviously TIA!

Group buy? Wouldn’t mind upgrading my V1 version to the new ones…..
Are they easy to upgrade? Garage did it for me originally from standard ones, I can’t remember if wheel bearings had to be removed?

If the original backing plate is already removed it's a 10 minutes job per side. I guess I could do a group buy given enough people sign up. The backing plates requires quite some time/effort before delivery (sanding, prep, paint and assembly) that's why I've increased the price if the backing plates are bought separately.

No, bearings are not removed. Only thing that comes off are the brakes. Plates get mounted to spindle behind the bearing.

I do have Race backing plates for the Z4/E46/E46 M3 but I haven't posted them in this thread, I don't have any front bumper air intakes for the non-M's right now. That's why I haven't posted them.

I might jump in too. Need to chat to Andre to see what can be kept from my original kit, prob not much. Perhaps unsurprisingly the front ducts have taken a bit of a hammering so I ought to get those too. Looks like the latest iterations are a lot stonger

If 10 people want to buy either the Race backing plates or a complete Race kit I can do a one time 20% discount on a full Race kit and 10% on the Race backing plates only. I won't produce the kits before everyone has commited and paid. I will do all at the same time if there will be a group buy. And with this amount of kits I have to order a new batch of plates once the group buy is set.

The front racing kit ... I assume those front ducts are a direct replacement for the original front bumper ducts?

So I just need the hose and clamps to connect the two ends?
