JAD said:Stay well away from these. The thread is hard to follow on Facebook but from my reading (granted, assumption);
- bought for £1,000
- has realised they're not for an E89 as they're missing the electronic hand brake piece
- thinks he can fit the fronts but deciding to flog them for £4k...
Having been conned for £200 when I was 17, I'll be reporting this post and user. Not interested in con men.
Vanne said::? Fark, not sure what the go is, WP DO make great racing brakes for bikes, nfi about cars though.
The dics do look strange, and a close up of them would be great. Nearly looks like they are full floaters? If it is a legit WP kit, then no idea how old mate got them for 1k pounds.. anyhows the kit actually looks very nice.. no idea about performance either.. and if it's a one off, how about replacement parts when the time comes??

Vanne said:Hmm.. vivid racing who stocks WP brakes, have no info on WP bbk for e86/85. Nor do they list any replacement parts. And WP website itself is a shambles, unable to even select make and model.. and that's in 4 different browsers.

Marius said:mmm-five said:If they were bought direct from WP (WinnerPower I believe), and were given the wrong info, then surely they can just get a full refund?
More importantly, how much did they pay for them? Not the 'WP retail price' as quoted in the text message, but the auction price?
Exactly my thoughs, also I don see anyone paying that much when you can get ap's for less.
Scooba_Steve said:Sounds like you know exactly what you want from them having read the fb posts. Even if they are going for retail or less you're making a large mark up by your own admission, a pretty silly thing to do.
What can you do? Sell for what you paid and postage could be one option.

No need to go mate, take it on the chin and move on. Perhaps be a little more active and get to know how the place spins. I'm afraid you'll always get the odd jelly spined keyboard warrior saying nasty things for fun, it's just how some 'fucked up people' are. It's good to see some different cars, it'd be boring if we all followed the same route.
Anyway up to you, hopefully you'll stay on.![]()

This brake thread has gone s bad way. I get your point though. You listed a price that can always go down not up! And anyone can make an offer. Your just trying to make as much as you can for your bbk. It just comes across sneaky. Your being upfront about it so credit to you.
Don't go leaving!! Have you looked at if M brakes fit?
