hello guys new to this site looking for some advice i have a e85 3.0 2005 plate and wanting to make it sound a little louder on the exhaust. i know a couple of people that have had the back box delete to get this. but by doing that you can get a loud drown if not giving it some. so wondering if any one has done anything different as the i cant seem to find a company that does after market exhaust as the back box is an odd shape

what have other people have done thanks .

Type in "sports exhaust" into Google, you'll get a number of options such as this: https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/bmw/z4/scorpion-exhaust-system-bmw-z4-2-5si-3-0si-e85-e86/?cmp_id=1624059255&adg_id=61207848185&kwd=&device=c&gclid=CjwKCAjwgdX4BRB_EiwAg8O8HcU4kTIqWc4MpmtKX1xVtue0AkOpfngQ3kGyPKKgYlD-HCncDA6G0BoCoCcQAvD_BwE

Hi lezzner, I shall simply welcome you to this fine forum and leave it to some one who knows, to discuss the merits of louder exhaust systems. :)

Pictures go down well here btw.

I had a stainless custom rear box with quad outlets made by a specialist exhaust firm in Hucknall, Notts.

have you considered removing foam from the sound generator? simple, free, reversible mod that has a big effect on the noise while you're driving it, i'd try that first before modding the exhaust.

hi redsox do you know the name of the exhaust shop you used.

Yep. It was www.stainless-exhaust.com. I know others have used them too for a similar mod. Nothing too boy-racer like.
