P5060010.jpgHi folks - regretfully selling my pride and joy Z4. Wont bore you with the reasons why.
I saw a few poor versions of my beauty before I found this one last February.
Its been a dream to own and drive and I think it is in excellent condition. The only thing that lets it down are the original 108 wheels, which need a refurb.I had planned to have these done and change to non run flats but never quite got around to it.

Details are:

First registered 27-9-07 (see pic)
MOT Sept 8th 2016
Miles @ 6-4-16 = 45493 (see pic)
Next service is 'Oil Service' in 1825 miles (see pic)
Full BMW service history (see pic)
2 keys plus master key
Electric memory seats
Electric mirrors
Rear parking sensors
Aux input
CD and 10 CD changer (I've never used it!)
Auto Wipers
Auto lights ( Not Xenon )
Stubby ariel (plus original)

I am aiming to get £9,995 for her.

**I will be away on holiday between 9th to 14th May so can not reply to any one on these days**

I can be contacted by email at [email protected]

Here are a few pictures

Owned 14/15 months isn't out of the norm with Zs or sports cars in general , however the long gap with same oil in is not going to sit well with any buyer :o that's a real no-no OP  i wouldn't want to be as blunt as mr maxman but i can't see much joy with this one which is a shame as a great looking car on a hard to find mileage
Most likely not done any harm but its finding a buyer willing to ignore it & actually view, drive & hear the car

Nice car

If the last oil change was 05/11 your coming up to 5 year old oil in the engine when BMW require every 2 years,

Not saying it's done damage, like other posters have said, it prob hasn't, but with the low mileage and no service history for the last 5 years, chances are it's been sat still a lot, with old oil.... This will put a lot of buyers off

However at your price id take it to synter, and you'll prob achieve close to your price, as they would prob retail it at 13/14k with one of their synter warranties that they put on cars they cannot sell as AUC

When you get your next car.... Service it mate.... Seriously :D

Hi folks

thanks for all the comments :good ,bad and ugly!
Feeling foolish for not checking all the service details and relying on the dash message backed up by the previous seller telling me when the next service is due.
I have no intention of misleading a new owner and will have the oil service done asap.
When I come to sell I will inform any prospective buyers of the long break in services and allow them to make an informed choice.

Mate seriously synter will give you close to that in a heartbeat.... They are the main buyers of z4 coupes in the uk at the minute. Get in touch with blue streak on here, he sold his to them for a similar price, he s had more mileage but more options

I bet they would give 9.5 for yours without even viewing it

To put in perspective here's one there selling this week for 15k

http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/Z/3.0si-Sport/Cardiff/1767091-605614613-3497301.aspx?srcmdc=se_na_re_

Synter are the only dealer that offers their own warranty for cars that they can't AUC ( no history, old cars, risky ones etc )

The only reason I say this is that I thing your going to struggle to sell to enthusiasts with that history, however a dealer can warranty it

What a shame to have lost the device history and many potential buyers.

Needs a full service after 5 years not just a short oill change. Will also need brake fluid change (due every 2 years)

Even sytner would have trouble selling this on.

To be fair a car with this gap in service history would traditionally be ringing alarm bells over whether the miles covered in the five years were genuine or not - but now with mot on line history carrying mileage record that worry is gone

Just my opinion but it's done 14.5 k without an oil service over 5 years - not 30k! for me there could be worse events than this and if I were looking to buy it wouldn't put me off

As above a full service with brake fluid change will put this right again but perhaps a negotiation point on the price asked for purchaser

Ive misread that then , i took last Feb as Feb 2015( hence 14/15months ago) as opposed to bought this Feb :?

Spikey - the issue with oil is as much time related as miles. Oils deteriorate hence the 2 year max. In the Z4. In many cars it's annual for the same reason ( my XF being a current example)

Consider that with low annual mileage the oil will be dirty, full of contaminants Inc water that never evaporates off and combustion corrosives eating away at the internals.
