The front roundel is secured from behind by two small metal self-threading nuts (10mm ?) that wind onto two plastic spigots moulded on the rear of the roundel itself. Remove one of the kidney grilles for access. The rear has two spigots that push into 2 nylon 'mushrooms' in holes in the boot lid. Use a plastic trim pry tool and a soft cloth. Not sure about the rear roundel on an E86
That's interesting, my old hood roundel disappeared at the track and this is the new one.
So you are saying #5 nut is holding it in and not just friction?
Thanks, I would have lost this new badge too.
