BMW Z4 3.0si Sport Auto 2006 (e85).
Reluctantly selling due to redundancy. I'm the third forum member to own the car, the previous 2 clearly looked after it, as i have.
£5000.00

• 101,000 miles
• Full Service History, in brilliant condition with large folder of invoices for work carried out.
• blue half leather seats - no rips or tears but driver bolster showing signs of age, again please see photos.
• cruise control retro fitted
• aux input for phone/ipod -
• CD Player
• cup holders - both work perfectly! (probably because ive never used them)
• still has all the foam inserts in the sound generator.
• sport button/ flappy paddles all working as they should
• all electrics work, windows, seats (windows drop as they should when opening doors
• heated seats
• folding mirrors
• roof works perfectly and is in very good condition, completely watertight, no leaks etc.
• drain holes checked regularly (brand new roof motor relocated to the boot)
• after market wind shield (cost £120)
• BMW Space saver wheel. Bought when i ditched the apocalyptically bad runflats. I dont like the idea of just having a compressor and some tyre gunge.
• BMW upgraded speaker system
• original folder with all manuals/service book.
• I have loads of photos if you want to see any more.

not so good points:

• The alloys are not perfect but not too bad. the photos show them very well.
• The steering feels a little twitchy on rough roads between 60-65mph. But is perfect at all other speeds - My understanding is that this is a common 'trait' for the model. Theres loads written on the subject on the z4 and BMW forums.
• paintwork has just a few age related marks but nothing outrageous (please see photos)

Its a great little car and I highlight its faults just to be completely transparent. The paintwork is lush and it still turns head with a coat of autoglym on it. It starts on the button everytime, has never let me down. The car drives beautifully and changes gear as it should with no knocks or clunks. It really has been a well looked after car.

I have spent a small fortune in my ownership. I have improved the suspension and the car now feels really tight and solid. The Bilstein shock absorbers and non run-flat tyres have made the world of difference and it doesnt have the horrible crashy ride that some Z4s suffer from.

work carried out over the last year:
• brake discs and pads (front)
• transmission service/oil/filter change + rear differential oil change
• front anti-roll bar links
• 4 shock absorber (bilstein b4)
• 4x suspension mounts/plates
• 4 Yokohama advan sport tyres
• new (not recon) roof motor pump.
• Trailing arm bushes replaced
• front ARB bushes
• 4 wheel alignment

At an ask of £5k, I can’t see this cared for - Si roadster being for sale very long OP..

Loving those, individual Blue Seats / Interior..
Roof down, I can imagine they really add to the overall pretty picture, of your roadster :driving:

Saddened, to read that redundancy - forces this sale though.. :x

Best of luck with the sale & with a bank holiday weekend looming - couldn’t be a better time to advertise.

thanks Woolybear, really appreciate that. Have a perspective buyer viewing this weekend. I confess I wasnt completely sold on the seats originally but i absolutely love them now, theyre a really nice deep colour. They really suit the car and contrast nicely with the bodywork.....

My point exactly, reference the seats and contrasting with the sleek silver bodywork

Best of luck at the weekend, with the viewing..
...Not sure I'd be tempted by any cheeky low bids (your call OBV's) however, as it's a cared for 3.0 Si..

Cheers :driving:

Woolybear, spot on dude. It's me at the weekend, it's mine, the deal is all but done :-) Forum always the best way to trade as we tend to know what we're doing.
