Hi there,
For sale is my beloved BMW Z4 3.0si. I have owned this car since around April 2016 - and loved every minute of it. It's now time for me to get something more practical as I will be buying a house in the near future.
I could give a huge write-up of the car but instead i'll leave you with a pro's and con's list to make it easier. One thing I will say is this car has been fantastic to me, I have owned it since 80,000 miles and all I have had to do mechanically is replace a part of the exhaust (technically not even mechanical!). The car is currently sitting on 97,000 miles.
The car is a 2006 model. I currently have a personal plate on the car so will be putting it back on to it's old plates before selling.
Good Areas
- Had a brand new clutch and dual mass flywheel at 79,000 miles
- Has had a brand new roof fitted in January 2018 (including headliner) due to somebody slicing a hole in the previous one. I had this done through my insurance and cost the insurance company around £1600 to replace.
- Has had a full bonnet respray due to scratches (January 2018)
- New Brembo discs and brake pads all round in February 2018
- Full service history, by full I mean there is paperwork for every single penny that has been spent on this car. Any serious buyers are more than welcome to look through it.
- Has been serviced at least every year, and has just had it's Inspection 1 this year. I have only had it serviced at Darren Wood in Stockport (BMW specialist - better than a main dealer)
- Has four Pirelli P7 Cinturato tyres, all with a good amount of tread left. These tyres are the best runflats you can get and cost upwards of £200 per tyre.
- There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car, it runs like new. I have never driven it hard and have never revved too high whilst cold. I always wait for the engine to warm up before taking it above 3k rpm.
Other Points
- There is a slight wearing of the red leather on the drivers seat. This was due to chewing gum sticking to the seat and I scrubbed a little too hard to get it off. This can be sorted with touch up leather paint. Again, I haven't had the time to do this myself.
- There are a few very minor age related marks on the vehicle, these are your standard small stone chips and very light scratches. A lot of these would come out with a good compound polish.
I have been as honest as possible in this listing and priced accordingly. I am not in a rush to sell so please don't make any silly offers. The mileage will go up slightly as I will still be using the vehicle.
Asking price is £6,250
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks
