The "BMW Wheel" app on android is very useful, giving offset info as well as pictures and widths etc

That's the one I use too - helpfully lists the full wheel details (width and offset as well as diameter) and the correct tyre sizes.
 
Er ... OK, so other than the fact that there seem to be smaller screw holes between the normal wheel bolts on the 202, what is the difference between the 107 and the 202?

The angle of the spokes at the edge of the rim is different.

Oh, OK, I can see that now.
It would be interesting to see photos of both types side-by-side, to see how different they actually look.

202 in the foreground, 107 in the background - it's unfortunately the only photo I have directly comparing the two:
