BMW Warranty - mod question!

I extended my BMW warranty today, but then remembered that my car had a set of lowering springs fitted before I bought the car.

Does anybody have any experience of getting warranty work done when you have such a mod done to your car?
Im hopeing that if something, say, went wrong with the roof - they wouldnt say "Arr - sorry sir, lowering springs = invalidated warranty" etc
