BMW Warranty Doubled In Price?

Hey all,

The extended warranty used to be around £400 a year on a sub 60k 35is and 800 on over.

It is now showing £719 on a sub 60k 35is and £1200+ over.

When did this change take place?
 
I have just gotten of the phone with the warranty company, and they said that because the cars original BMW warranty has lapsed, and the car does not have an existing extended warranty on their is a premium in the first year, but drops in the second year.
 
Mine is about £45 a month if I recall correctly.
They cane you when you go over 60000 when purchasing new or on annual policy. So if sub 60000 make sure you pay monthly so it just roles over and you carry on at the previous monthly price. Same on my 5 series. It's the way they work the warranties at BMW. Lots of articles on this on the web. No idea why BMW don't charge you higher monthly fee when it goes over 60000 if you have a pay monthly policy. But they don't.
