BMW Ultimate Drive

I can't believe a year has gone by this fast. I received the invitation from BMW to participate again this year (it is open to everyone) in the Susan G Komen Ultimate Drive for the Cure today. I chose a 335CI and a 760 LI for our two test drives. They did not have any 1 series or X6's to test drive and surprisingly there were a lot more Z4's available this year. Si's and coupes were also available for the Z4's, no M's. Also I was able to chose anything we wanted, last year the slots were taken rapidly while we were online (reminded me of HC). Help support a great cause and drive the Ultimate Driving Machine! PS. My area is always early in the year so some you will not see this in your area for a few months. Check the web site for times and locations!!

If you really want to have some fun, offer to help transport the cars from one dealer to another. Two years ago I drove the 6 series signature car 50 miles to the next dealership. They give you a nice bus ride back to where you started and a boxed dinner. Great people for an even better cause.

Just a side note, that same year my dad went with me and he drove the 750li. He couldn't figure out the i-drive so he listened to AM static all the way. :lol:
 
I screwed up, I didn't know what the Alpina B7 was. By the time I looked it up, the slots were taken!

You can still drive it. Trust me, just wait around, and there will be an opening. I drove every car the first year I participated.

Looks like I will do the same. How do I go about doing the drive from dealer to dealer? Just walk in and talk to management?
*edit* Mine is 4/15/08
