BMW Track day

Has anybody got any experience of the BMW track day at Oulton Park?

I do it most years, but am skipping this year's as it's not on a good day for me.

Day is usually under-subscribed, so relatively quiet (I did 200 miles in the cold & damp last year).

It's well-organised, and Nick is a great guy. There's also a raffle to make up a bit of club funding.

Overall excellent value.

Ooh I didn't know about this. I'm 14 miles away in Chester and have done Oulton Park on the motorbikes a few times; would be fun to do it in the ///M

I'm already a member of the BMW car club so will have to find out how to book!

It's a BMW company thing not BMW car club. I'm going to try and get details from the dealer I think!

Oulton park is on Tuesday Nov 8th and is priced through the BMCC at £150 for the day. Its run by Nick and you can contact him on
01970 267989 or contact, [email protected] to book, and you don't have to be a member to join in.

The buy a gift day is for a few laps in one of their cars, the BMWCC day is a full day in your car, bit of mix up I was talking of a different type of track day mate.

I've been offered it as part of a deal from a dealer and Mrs K wouldn't allow me to use my car in the track.
We holiday in Germany every year and are always very close to the ring. Every year I ask and evry year she says NO!

Oh no! Sounds to me like you need to do one of those trips solo? (Just saying) :lol:

After all 130ish in foreign currency is only about 85 in Imperial units :wink:

Sounds like you could do with trading her in for a newer model.
