Have just been stuck in a small traffic jam and was sat next to what I thought was an X6 for a couple of minutes.

When it moved off before me I saw the GT badge on the back and realised it was the new 5 series Gran Tourismo - it was bleeding huge

I saw one today as well!

On the road out of Doncaster, German plates on. They are absolutely enormous (and, to be honest, quite vulgar) in the flesh.

We're almost full circle:
Take a 5 series
Raise it and add a tailgate to create an X5
Chop the rear off to create an X6
Lower it again to create the GT
Put the boot back on and voila ,we've evolved back to the 5 Series

Now what about just having the 5 series Tourer - too easy

Strangely it looked bigger than an X5/6 - and I park next to one of them most days.

IMHO the X6 is up there with the Cayenne in the list of 'most pointless vehicles'.....

Yep but not the Cayenne TurboS or X6M. As they are truly awesome. I dislike them both but they're awesome!
