wow great! "water leak in the trunk area" after much hosing down and looking like a complete but case in front of the neighbours it was indeed the lack of sealant on those 3 platic nuts! This could have saved a lot of time... think I will read through all of these :-) thanks! :)
 
The ambient temperature sensor is interesting, as well as the dip in revs due to a software error. Both have appeared here.
