BMW Seal & Protect... is it worth getting?

Hi all
I just bought my first Z4 yesterday from a BMW dealership and was asked if i wanted the Seal & Protect for an additonal £399.

Just wanted to know if it's worth getting??

Because it's a product that costs them £25 and even then they just get their valeter to slap it on - the very same valter who leaves streaks on your bodywork, marks on your seats and fingerprints everywhere!

It's also not as 'fit & forget' as they claim - as you still have to regularly wash and top-up the treatment to maintain the warranty. It will also not protect from stone chips.

For the money, you might as well get a proper detailing done with a very good wax and then just do the normal washing process as you would have to with the BMW product.

Either that or go for the all over Paintshield system (I just went for the leading edges one to protect from stone chips).

Zymol is probably the best. I will try its wax after using up BMW wax.
