Thanks guyZ! I'm sure I'll be flying that weekend so just raise your glasses high in the sky, lock your elbows, and say "arrrggghhhh"!!!! I'll try to make an inverted low altitude high speed pass over y'all. Actually that's not a bad idea. Let me see what I can do... maybe a flyby is in order

Blimey, you showed us what you fly.... inverted would be seriously impressive :poke:

AJ, sorry you will not be able to attend HC. Hopefully we will all meet up at a gathering in the future. My Uncle Bill who entered the Navy in 1935 pulled some pretty wild stuff when he was a pilot. He pretty much used to make side trips as long as they were somewhat close to his final destination. One time he flew in to visit my mom at our local airport, his Super Constellation overshot the runway by a good many feet. The locals pulled him out of the grass and he was good to go, no questions asked.

I'm working with the F-16 Guard guys in Atlantic City to try to pull off a formation flyby. It's unlikely, but I'm gonna push for it anyway... If I can't be there on the ground with y'all, the least I could do is entertain you from the air.

JBZ4, That's Awesome! We used to be able to do stuff like that. I flew in to see my mom once. And I got the opportunity to buzz my dad's office once. Of course that was in a much smaller jet. The accidents of the past have sparked a TON of rules that make it very difficult to do any of that anymore. And with this ongoing war, the availability of jets to do a "show of force" to the public outside of an airshow is very limited. We used to do flyovers at funerals, sporting events, concerts, parades, holiday ceremonies, and such, and it was great for public relations and recruiting. Not so much anymore. Wish me luck convincing the powers that be that this would be a worthwhile event to show y'all your tax dollars at work!

Tell em we'll stick a recruitment banner on the home page if they let you do it

Judging by the amount of military or ex military on here i'd be pleased to anyway.... but let's not tell them that just yet ;)

...oh... and if it happend and it is not caught on camera, every member attending homecoming is instantly BANNED!

My uncle was a wild man, left highschool and became a radioman and then had the opportunity to fly for the navy, his brother Walter flew with George Bush Sr. They both (my uncles) entered the Navy as enlisted. Different generation and hell of a different navy.

Every once in a while I get invited to a Jaguars game here in town and I know it sounds corny, but when they do a flyover it is something I really get excited about.

Yo ducks, I finally cleaned out my garage so I can pull the Zed in. Not allowed to park it in there yet, but when I start the detailing this week, thats where it will stay for a couple of days between coats of wax...

NX for the first one, then Pinnacle Signature II for the second... I get to use my new PC for the first time...

Clay bar first...then take a plastic sandwich bag and put over your hand, then with the bag on feel the finish. If it isn't smoooooooth, clay bar again. Good luck and have fun!

Yep, I have all of these things....

Hell, I clayed the car two months ago.. Needs it again.. Must look good for HC.

When I bought all the other stuff, I also picked up some Pinnacle Series II Quick spray detailer. Marvelous stuff...

Heck, I'm letting the dealer detail it for me on the 27th....... got all the stuff, but don't got the time. <sigh>
