BMW Roadster Homecoming 2008 info

Phil is always lurking :spy: Now, if Phil was actually Hazel, then I would be highly disappointed, and refuse to give Phil his due respects at HC of the Honorable Belly Rub (Hubber). For the non-initiatated, it is the other "Hubber"

:D

So the rules have changed I see.

It is no longer HC virgins, it has been changed to the non-initiatated. :? :headbang:

I actually meant "Virgins", but it sounded bettter saying un-initiated. My apoligies to the Grand Poo-Bah of Ceremonies, if I stepped out of line

Seeing how the Grand Poo-Bah of Ceremonies did not show up last year , when I was an HC virgin, I thought I had recieved a get out of ceremonies card. If there is a change of ruling one just likes to know before hand. Non-initiatated lots of gray area there.

Just got an e-mail from ZSCCA that the registration date will open on June 21.

Just received same email. Site should be updated tonight or tomorrow. Let's start thinking about an informal forum get together. PS. Hey Gregg, I guess we brought some good luck from Florida with us. The game was great! JBZ4

Web site just changed registration is on the 21st for the LAST homecoming!!
June 11, 2008

Hello again,

Roadster Homecoming is now less than three months away and we are looking forward to having you join us for another exciting Labor Day Weekend here at the home of the Z3 and Z4.

Registration will begin at mid-day on Saturday, June 21st. And, just as we did last year, we will actually open the website a few days in advance to give you a look at the 2008 Homecoming schedule so you can become familiar with the choices before registration begins. We hope this will make the registration process easier for you as well as reduce the chances for error and the need to make changes later.

The schedule will be similar to last year. Many of you told us how much you appreciated the changes we made in 2007 that included some new activities as well as more open time to plan your own activities. We are adding back to the schedule this year a planned driving event with lunch on Sunday the 31st. I think we all missed having this last bit of time together last year, so it's back and more details will follow soon.

Now, I must tell you that this year, 2008, will be the 12th and final in the series of Roadster Homecomings here at BMW Manufacturing. With the next generation BMW roadster to be built in Regensburg, Germany it's time to offer others the opportunity to create and host an event like what we have enjoyed and loved since 1997.

Of course, the wonderful friendships we have made through a dozen years of Homecoming will endure and I am quite certain we will find many other occasions to come together to share our passion for BMW roadsters and coupes.

On behalf of the entire BMW Roadster Homecoming team, we are very much looking forward to seeing you Labor Day weekend for what will probably be the most memorable Homecoming of all!

Very best regards,

Kenn Sparks
Manager, BMW Corporate Communications
