BMW Roadster Homecoming 2008 info

Thank you for thaking my teasing in the light in which it is intended. Just one of the things I enjoy about you. Takes a tease from me without getting angry. I know I will pay for it at some point ( when I least expect it , most likely). :tumbleweed: But that is all good. :fuelfire: :P

I recieved an e-mail from the ZSCCA this am. Good thing they did not have these rules last year.

Dear ZSCCA member,

Good news, Homecoming is just a few months away which means that the online registration date should be announced very soon.

I would like to assure you that your Board of Directors is monitoring the HC website (http://www.bmwroadsterhomecoming.com) for an announcement about when registration will open and we will email our members just as soon as a date is announced. Hopefully, this will help you to be be prepared for the date.

On the day of registration it is important to have the HC registration website on your computer as early as possible and if registration is not open, refresh the page every minute or so. Space is limited and last year, HC was filled in just an hour or so. Also, be aware that all attendees must be registered in a Z (you cannot fly in, rent a car and attend) so when you log on to the registration site, have your passengers name handy and know what events you want to register for. This will help you to register in a timely manner and free up the server for the hundreds of others are trying to log on.

Once registration has been announced, the ZSCCA will begin notifying all of our members of the clubs plans for special events during HC.

I look forward to seeing everyone at HC2008!

How is this enforceable unless they physically go to outside and look at your car?

Good question. We will need to wait until the time comes. I will have my vin # number handy though.

When is HC 08? Atleast any idea what month it's going to be held in?

Officially the Thur/Fri/Sat (weekend) before Labor Day. I get there on Wednesday just to watch the Atlanta group get drunk...then stay drunk.

I resemble that. :x

Nah...you get...ermmmm, happy. Yeah, that's it: happy. Very happy. Wait, more like elated. Not giddy elated, just elated. Hold on, you get more than elated you get hyper elated and very happy.

Just don't get those "I don't remember how I got those" unslightly grass stains on your shorts again.

I don't know for sure that the Vin # will be required or not. I will just be ready just incase. I don't want to be in the middle of signing up and need it and not have it on hand. :headbang:

Is that for real????? Who would fly or drive anything other than their BMW Z? :driving:

I read somewhere that they are havig a 2 day sign-up, I also read that last year was crazy tryig to get registered, computer glitch.

hazel - we have a few friends from England and other parts of the world who were interested in joining us at HC this year. Of course, if they can make it one of us will take care of them, so not having their Z with them won't be a problem.
