BMW Roadster Homecoming 2007

Only 7 weeks and 4 days to HC....

The Crab Shack was good when holding 6-8 peeps. Any more than that and the table gets too big. We then need to chain Mark to his chair for fear he will hover behind us and break into any conversation. Now his wife can do this, but Mark can't.

So, I think we should meet where they have a large round table (unlikely) or grab a bite and just meet up in the EB court yard. For drinks we could migrate to the bar or if someone has brought adult beverages we can migrate to their suite. I just think that all this driving around, the Crab Shack not exciting me, and if there is imbibing of alcohol it would be best just to keep us all at the Embassy Suites.

What ya'll think?

I agree that if (too much) alcohol is going to involved, EB is the place to do it. Crab shack sounds good for a meet-n-greet and getting some food before the main festivities begin.

There are sooo many peeps at the Crab Shack, it just gets diluted. Unlike Phil who ate at dinner at 4pm and was asleep by 8pm, most of the others didn't drink much.....(much being a operative word here). Even the ones that got sh!t faced stayed at the EB and/or didn't drive. No one needs the hassle of getting stopped by the local constabulary anyway. I'm only throwing out suggestions well in advance to see what we may want to do.

What ever you guys want to plan is fine as far as we are concerned. We have not made plans on when we are leaving as yet. So, at this point I have not got a clue as to how many miles we will have driven that day. We do plan to being there on Thursday.

IMZ4N + 1

COOLZ4 + 1

I don't know how the girls feel about being called +1.

We both have rooms at EB.

I'll have my 13 year old son with me, so maybe this group won't provide a wholesome example for him. :P

Is anyone bringing along a nanny?

13 years old will fit in perfectly. We have beer police so he won't get anything he shouldn't have.

This year's theme will be announced at a later time.

When does this super secret get to be known? :?

Perfect, last 3 days before hitting the road and will be running around at the last second trying to conform. I guess it is what it is.

It most likely won't be a 50's thing, Elvis or Hawaiian since they have been recent themes. IIRC.

I'm gonna show up dressed like Luke from Dukes of Hazard and my Hooters girl will of course be dressed like Daisy - no matter what the theme!
