This is the first time I see them in europe (I'm working in Munich for the next few months)

Interesting, certainly not the best or worst ive seen. Never seen them in the UK, or on a Z anywhere to be honest.

I saw those wheels in person at a local dealer a few weeks ago. FUGLY just about describes them. The only thing that made them cool on the concept coupe was the finish (dark gun-metal/hyperblack) that gave it the 3D effect. You make them plain silver and it completely ruins the design. The spokes look too busy and incoherent.

Hmm, from this angle they resemble a tangled mass of cobwebbs. Hopefully whomever gets the privilege of washing them has small fingers because those will be a PITA to clean.

WOW! I am surprised at how many people do not like them. They are one of the contributing factors as to why I chose my car – oh well, each to their own. :)

Thankfully I do have small hands, because they can be a PITA to clean - which is why I invested in one of those power balls that you attach to a drill. I was getting really bad bruises on my forearms - OUCH! Anyway, she's worth every bruise and then some!

I love those wheels look great  almost as much as the 203's .........any news gannet,

Ill keep you posted 2dogs... but don't hold your breath
I have searched the web high and low for a set of 203's but they are like rocking horse sh#t to find.. :(

I got mine from the dealer - though even they had to get them from Germany as they showed as being on back order! Took 'em about 2 weeks and cost me £1180 with new centre caps, tyres were on top of that :o

I still haven't seen any other Z4's with these wheels on in this country!

What wheels do you have on at the moment?

2dogs has got the 108 wheels just now.

2dogs, why don't you wait until your 108s corrode and then get them swapped for the 203s under warranty instead. Use something aggressive on them like "Wicked wheels" and bathe your wheels in salt water to accelerate the process.

:D

Wondermike

I wondered how long it would take somebody to suggest bathing 108's in salt water, would never consider doing this myself of course.

You wouldn't? Not even to accelerate a warranty claim? I must be honest, I would, although I'd probably take them off the car to avoid doing any damage or whatever to brakes or other components.

In fact, I'd maybe soak them in Coke or something like that

Not wise to mention on a forum probably, only takes the wrong person to see and bang goes your warranty claim.
