today I installed the current BMW Performance Shift Knob.
I didn't quite like the ZHP one, and would have bought MachineMonkey's masterpiece had I not got a nice discount on the BMW part.
The previous "alloy" knob was too light and too long -
The current one is heavy and has a real metallic feel. The black altantara matches my existing interior.
Now the throw is instant and sure, and - most importantly - the travel between the gates is much shorter.
Another 100% difference - just as ditching the runflats.
