The problem I've found with some of the aftermarket mats is that they don't stay in place unless you fit all kinds of clips/pins/fixings.skelters said:I like the look of these....
Prestige for the Scottish "summer" and rubber mats for the winter.

The 3 sets (1 summer, 2 rubber) of BMW mats I've bought have stayed in place without any fixings, and have only been about £10 a set dearer.

m5 if for any reason your not happy with your mats you can have mine and ill by your new ones from you. mine in the car are like new, as mine doesn't need 'total' protection as its used twice a week ill definitely take a punt so its a win win for you either way. if you keep then ill order a new set.

I was hoping these performance mats would be lighter than my rubber ones and thus help me break the magical 180mph speed on the speedo.skelters said:Is that not due to the obvious deficiencies you have in, "Z4 version 3 - with permanently attached hardtop" ?
With the increased wind pressure caused by driving a Z4 with the roof down (as the Great God Bangle intended) the mats I have never move.
This couldn't happen with a, "CooPee" due to sealed capsule effect and differences in pressure inside and outside causing some sort of strange mat moving effect.
Have you thought of posting on the problems section as there's probably a solution somewhere?
Yes I'm taking the piss!![]()
I'll look at the BMW mats!
Not arrived yet, and won't be home until Friday anyway.mac27040 said:Only pics yet ?
No more power, but a better power-to-weight ratio as my BMW rubber ones are twice the weight.skelters said:Interested to hear of the BHP increase due to the mats!
