Not trying to be clever but are there any part numbers as it looks remarkably like the rep ones on ebay :(

£12 wow that's cheap I assume those are made of plastic! I got this one off Facebook marketplace from a chap selling it as oem. It didn't turn up for weeks and so I got bored waiting and got one from bmw. This and the one from bmw dealer are the same weight (165g) and look identical. Can't see any part numbers on either. If it's not original it's a bloody good copy and I paid 25 plus post for it.

Happy to take offers given it looks like it might not be oem. As I say it's exactly as heavy as the one I got from bmw. I've updated the listing and adjusted the asking price 👍

I have an OEM one of these and the text on the lower part of the gear annotation should be darker grey rather than green. Unfortunately, that one appears to be a copy.

Edit: just saw your reply - fair enough

Yeah I did think I had a deal when I got it but he said it was oem. Have to say its not bad in the hand for what does sound like a copy.

Ended up buying twice as well (when it took weeks to turn up!)

:headbang:

I do believe this is a copy - which I have. It is plastic on outer but metal inside.

It should be noted that on my copy version, the internal notch that aligns to the gear level does NOT have the angle needed for our cars meaning that if you set it up, it will be turned at an offset angle.

I tore mine apart and remoulding the notch to suit.

Besides that, it's a good rep and I've used it for a while now.
