BMW Paint Protection...

Just had my first run in service, and forgot to mention to the dealer that I dont want my car washed. :!:

They washed it, and now theres a few swirl marks :headbang: Very light stuff and will polish out but I complained and they are applying the paint protection foc.

Should I let them do this?

Have many owners had this done? should I trust the dealer again?

I had them replace my entire roof when they washed the car (against all written instructions not to).

I had paint protection done in The Netherlands (drove there specifically as it can only be done there). It is a teflon like layer - never need waxing again. Unfortunately, the stuff that the dealers use in the UK is not that good as it won't last that long.
 
But youd say it was worth it if its free? Just dont know whether I should trust them with it.

Had it done on a new silver merc recently and it's amazing, but the Z's black and shows swirls easily.
