BMW OEM H8 Blue bulb

Hi all;

Might give these a try...I know they prob be dimmer than LEDs but just looking for a white look Angel eyes, they are OEM and £44 delivered with a BMW dealer..vs £220 odd for a Lux H8 160

Intersted to know what they look like, how bright they are and if they just have a blue film over the glass or produce the whiter hue in another way.
 
Had an offer from Cartronics that may be able to fit Lux H8 160 while they do my speakers (for under £200) , which will might make me sway towards that instead, my only reservation with the BMW OEM is not a lot of feedback from different forums but lots of good feedback from Lux H8s ...either way I go I will post some info :-)
 
Fitting the bulbs takes about 30 seconds on the E89. They're not exactly doing you a big favour there.
 
I just installed a pair of these Angel Eyes LED replacement blubs. Now, they match the blue/white of the xenons and are noticeably brighter:

The bulbs were very nicely assembled and packaged - they should last a LOT longer than OEMs. Guaranteed not to 'fault' too.
