Evening :)

Probably going to be a Z4 owner very shortly. Looking at a 2013 20i M sport in white with the red leather from a dealer. Things are looking okay so far and the car is immaculate so hopefully everything works out with them! Based out in the middle of Wales so surrounded by plenty of fantastic roads

Currently running a RX8 PZ - My second RX8 as they are just fantastic providing they are looked after! - But fancy a bit of a change and since I dont really require back seats it left either a new MX5 or a Z4 on the list :) Going to take a bit of getting used to though as I've only ever had high revving NA cars before now! Not used to this stuff called torque  Looking forward to it! :D

Cheers

Welcome OP!

That sounds like a lovely colour combination - can't wait for the photos!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Is there anything I really need to keep an eye out for with these cars? Obviously I'm used to checking things quite regularly with the RX8 but just wondering if there is a list of common issues etc?

Going to have a 2 year BMW warranty too, so anything that does go wrong I should be able to get fixed :)

296 style wheels used to crack a lot but you have 325's which should be OK.

Otherwise, after a few years, front struts on active suspension systems can be ultra expensive if not covered by warranty.

I'm not aware of other issues, but have only had an E89 for less than 4 months, there may be others with greater experience who can advise.
