BMW NA customer service uses forums

Have you guys noticed this thread over to Roadfly?

I wander if BMW NA monitors this forum as well. Any idea?

Back with the earlier production models, some of us had the old "AirBag" sticker fade mark. My dealer gave me a bunch
of crap about replacing it, so I posted these pictures. They wanted to know what they could do to "not suck?"

Not very well if they do monitor the forums.

Coast BMW in San Luis Obispo, CA was pretty damn suck ass. They would not believe anything was wrong with the car until the next service, well AFTER a service bulliten came out and they would not contact me with the notice one came out. It was on my last warranty trip to them that they FINALLY started to offer a loaner FOR WARRANTY WORK. By then they had worked it out with the Enterprise rental place that Enterprise would rent out some 328i's exclusively to them. However, my first loaner was a POS Fesiva or some other micro car. The rep tried to give it to me without its rearview mirror.

Not sure Coast's offer of the "extended warranty" is. Reno BMW's was SUCK ASS. They went with a 3rd party and the cost of Maint + parts + labor was going to be $5k for 4 years. I told them Laguna Beach BMW gave it to someone I know the whole deal for $2500. That's the price I got in my head and I ain't moving. The service manager said he had his bottom line. I kept my cash and walked out.

Bet dollars to dougnuts that BMW of Baghdad is all around better. (If there is one.)

Hey BMWNA! You going to fix your fuckedup owners area? Had my Z4 3.0i since 2003 and you still won't let me in that shitty place. Then I picked up a 1969 2002 and a 1972 3.0CSa. Guess I don't count as an "owner" for you. From what I am told by members of this forum and other sites: your "owners area" isn't worth the time because more info is posted on OTHER boards like these.

Hey, is Roadfly (assclowns) still blocking competitor's URLs? (Why I don't use 'em.)

Roadfly caters to the "less sophisticated" owner. The tree type design suits some drivers perfectly and that is that. Back when the z4 first came out, Roadfly was about the only active forum. It was full of trolls and had serious problems. No moderators was one of them. They did have a high visibility to BMW NA Customer Service. Other forum URL's are still blocked. I post very little compared to some years ago. There are some interesting clowns that post there.
