BMW Museum- no Z4's

Hi guys,

I went to the BMW museum in Munich during the week and whilst it was brilliant for a fanboy like myself I was sad to see no Z4's of any description in the building.

The main area was dedicated to roadsters and had the original 328, Z1, Z8 & even a Z3 but no Z4 :( I know it isn't BMWs biggest model but thought it was worth mentioning ;).

Anyone been before and how did you find it?

P.s I still recommend it to anyone if they have the chance.

I went back in September during the BMW Festival and loved it. I need to go back again to explore more corners, there's just so much to see. I assume the cars on display rotate over time. I guess the Z4 is at an awkward age - not new enough to impress current customers, not old enough to qualify for a museum display. I'm sure BMW have a few tucked away in a warehouse ready to go on display when the time is right.

They lack a lot of the newer models.
The z4 just isnt old enough yet to be in a museum in contrast to the z3

I liked the museum, but I found it disappointing that I found nothing on the car manufacturer Glas.
That BMW's largest factory in the world is located in Dingolfing is a direct result from buying the Glas brand at the time (it was Glas who had a factory in Dingolfing)

I also pointed out to the guide that it was very obvious that the first bmw was in fact a licenced english design from Austin when I pointed to the puddle of oil that sat under the transmission....
