Hi guys,
Can anyone out there tell me how to delete the previous destinations from my sat nav? looked everywhere but there seems to be not option for this operation..
I have a 2016 z4 e89 with a cic unit

Open NAV > Map shopuld open > press NAV again for the Navigation Menu....

Select Last Destinations

Scrol to the destination you want to remove

Press the Options button on the controller, and scroll down to Delete Entry

Press the centre of the controller and the destination is now removed

I have done exactly that, but I don't seem to have the delete entry option..everything is the same except no delete option..that's just plain weird :?

Nope, being a 2016 car means you should have the up to date firmware (last firmware was 2013), so theoretically it should be there, so I'm stumped :(

not the best solution but you could reset all of the user input options like nav, radio stations, seat positions, etc. Almost like a factory reboot. Once done, just put back what you want but somehow you should be able to delete last destinations.

Thanks Steven,
I kinda thought it was strange that the previous owner's destinations is saved..
I have to admit, it's interesting to see all the sat nav history from new :)
Maybe I can find out if the delete option is switch off with Bimmercode. worth a shot.

Never updated my 2009 cars maps.
Do later version allow inputting of full post code, my cars version never did.

Interesting, I’ve done 2022 maps, and I still have only part postcode functionality…

thats becouse its not the maps that choose its the firmware of the satnav, you might need to get that updated, i had mine done a few years back it was a real work up. Stealers will tell you it can't be done. but it can with the right equipment.
