Since I've had a deposit on the i8 I now receive the magazine again, and there is a large article on the i3 and a smaller section on the i8 of which states a fuel consumption of 62 miles per three litres, so the least the car will do is circa 85mpg which is pretty impressive, however economy isn't everything and not sure I'd get used to not hearing a nice exhaust note :driving:
 
I think the magazine also gives a mpg figure as well, which is a bit easier to follow (90-something, or over 100?). It also gives an all electric range (20 miles) which is sort of a freebie, as the testing allows the battery to start charged and be drained during the test.

From 911 to zero exhaust note ? A big ask ?

So only 99 other people have a deposit down, I'm told BM are only selling/servicing the i8 through 46 dealers and don't want to train all 400+ ? dealerships in case the take up is poor.

Could be just DP talking balls :idunno:
