I think there are a few M's that are pointess - the X5 and X6 for starters. Do we really think there won't be an E89 Z4 M? :?

I could be wrong but did BMW say they wern't going to make a M version of the original Z4. Surely it's just a marketing ploy.
 
I assume this will have the uprated turbo engine that's in the new 35is Z4?? If they are going to call it a M1 or 1M then why not call the 35is a Z4M :( Unless of course they intend to eventually make a Z4M.
 
I stupidly thought it was going to be a rehash of the 70's supercar :headbang:

But pretty pointless car, BMW seem to narrowing the waters between quick versions of the standard car and the M versions, afterall how much quicker is it really going to be than a 135i
 
I did read somewhere that the M1 will fill the gap between the 135i and the M3. Agree, it does seem like a small gap to fill. :? The 1 series coupe is just too "blocky" for me.
