BMW M-Zero concept

Found this. Pretty cool looking thing.

Mael Oberkamph, a German photographer and a photo rendering artist, has worked up what he calls the M-Zero. The car is supposed to take major inspiration from the BMW M-Series and is a mix of the BMW M6 and the Aston Martin DB9.

I dunno, I see more than a little of 350Z and S2000 in that car. Granted it's nice, and there are so many designs out that it will always look like something.

A little too convectional looking for me ... take away the kidney grills and stand back a few feet and it could be the latest coupe from Nissan, or Toyota

Not a bad effort at all. Quite like the side profile and elements of the rest, don't like the back. What I did find interesting though is you can instantly tell its not genuine BMW - it just lacks both the cohesion of a real design and the finish for a rendering somehow?

I think that guy needs to find a new proffession :roll:
The renders aren't that good, the modelling is pretty poor and his design really shows a lack of understanding car design.

It's simple things, such as when did you last see a windscreen that square and flat? :thumbsdown:
