Any of you here had a Z3M roadster/coupe before buying the Z4M? interesting to see what you guys think in terms comparison. would anyone go back to the Z3M?
I had a Coupe, then a 5 year and 2 car gap before getting the Z4.
In terms of straight line performance and noise, there's not really much in it. They're both fantastic.
Cornering ability is much better in the Z4 IMO. The old suspension components in the Z3 are beginning to show their age.
Looks: Z4 wins hands down. I never liked the front of the Z3 anyway. Rear was great, but then so is the Z4 and that looks good from the front.
Space: Z3 is a much smaller footprint I think, in terms of wheelbase. I saw one on the road again the other day and it looked much smaller than I remember. However, boot space was excellent in the Z3. I once got 4 bags of golf raquets in the Z3. Interior space and refinement is a bit of a step up in the Z4, but not massively so.
If I had a 10 car garage, I wouldn't see the point of having the Z3 over the Z4.
