BMW M 50 Jahre Anniversary Side Indicators

As many of you will probably already know BMW is celebrating 50 years of the M division. So to recognise this I decided to fit some genuine BMW 50 year anniversary roundels to the side indicators on the M Roadster. There are minor modifications required the the roundel and indicator units but the fit and finish is to a factory spec.

Happy to offer this ‘plug and play’ modification if it tickles your fancy.

Cheers,
GT Spec

I’m undecided on whether the anniversary roundels are somehow “wrong” on a non-2022 car, but I do like the look of them. 8)

Vinyl stickers over the originals are about my level of bravery!

I saw one on the tailgate of an MC at Donington last Sunday, but it seems there isn't one the right size for the front roundel of the Z4 so that put me off the idea.

And thinking about it since maybe they are only really "right" on a 2022 car.

The front one is what has stopped me from commiting the sin of putting those on my non-M E86 but I am tempted to give it a chance and see how the 74mm roundel would look in place of our 70mm one (I'm not afraind of tinkering and making them hold with only a good double sided tape).

As for fitting those on a non-22 car, part of me is not at ease with doing it but then I am thinking we can all celebrate the 50 years and also the red accent on a blue car seem very nice :)

infills are complete and printed at the work shop....   just need to plot them out and install.

Let me just leave this here.... 😁😁

Full set should be fitted within 7 days ... Proper carbon pieces. It took me a while . Couldnt get my overlays to look go so started working with a company in the states who ships them to my business ( this helps me write off the dumb shipping costs ) been afew trials but the quality is bang on where I want them . Price point will likely put most off but I will stock a few sets and sell them soon.

I might be marching out of step here but I have to say that I don’t like the design of the 50 Jahre Badge. Even less so when I realised how much BMW charge for them on a new M40i
