BMW leather colours

I believe the only difference is the grain of the leather.

The standard nappa is coarse grain, the walknappa is fine grain.

In the picture above (courtesy of e30-tech.com) the walknappa ones are #3, #7 & #8.
 
Ok thanks for that, if that's true then the champagne colour should be the same whether the grain is fine or coarse i guess ?

In theory yes. But it will depend on whether they used the same dye/process at different times, or if the leather came from different suppliers.

Mhmm, what is the actual name of samples 1 and 2? Are they oem bmw?

They're all BMW leathers. Can't remember the exact order of the names, but I think there was a Merino and a Dakota leather in there too.
