BMW key programer in Northeast England

Hi

I am after a bmw specialist who can program the key for the various functions such as putting the roof back up via the key fob etc

This might be a stupid question but do they actually program the key or give you a seperate remote fob?

they plug a laptop in a unlock options the cpu doent allow.

how north in the north east are you looking, I think there's a place in Newcastle that programs keys for £60.

I don't know whether this is common knowledge or not but my local Stealers have refused to re-program my key to open / close the roof remotely as they aren't allowed to do it under 'EU Legislation'!

Apparently some kids have been trapped in the mechanism!?

To all those enjoying the remote roof opening / closing feature- beware of any BMW garage that wants to bring the programming of your keys 'up to date' as I am informed 'up to date' now means the loss of this extremely cool function!
