BMW Key Coder on eBay??

I don't have the facilities to do the newer CAS system keys yet, only the older EWS ones.

Im looking to being able to do them within the next month or 2.

Can you post up some pictures of key options available please?

I really fancy a flip key.

Welcome along

Thanks, this looks nice. Is it good quality?

The flip key is very good quality and has a nice weight and feel to it.
They don't charge via the ignition, but the battery can be swapped pretty easily.

Do you do keys for the 2004 era 1 Series?

It's the key which locks into the dashboard with the metal emergency key slotted inside.

I need a spare with or without the metal key.

Sorry I don't have the facility to provide CAS system keys yet.

I ordered one last night as I did some research & all I found were complements - I also used my M&D's address... just to be belt & braces

Cost for a refurbed key - £30, absolute bargain

Perfect - thanks. Just be sure to let me know by posing or PM when you have the facility

If we're coming in person, do we need to make an appointment, or just roll up in East Ham?

I'm planning on coming over from Brentford (probably beginning of Sept when I'm heading east across London anyway) for a pair of flip keys (coded & cut) for mine as I'm fed up of getting holes in my pockets :P

Any discount for buying 2?

assuming mine passes his MOT, that's roughly when I was looking at going.
if you're heading from liverpool, you practically have to pass me enroute... mini road trip?

I'm always up for a road trip - mini or otherwise - but I'm heading from Liverpool (at 5am) to Brentford (9am) on Monday morning (M6-M6 Toll-M42-M40) so won't be anywhere near Nottingham.

On the Thur afternoon or Fri morning I'm heading over to Essex to visit a mate, so was planning on driving through central London (which I avoid like the plague), avoiding the C charge and stopping to get the keys done before continuing my journey.

Anyway, I wouldn't want to have some crabbing Z4 showing me up :poke:

You will need to make an appointment mate.

I can do a discount for 2, how does £120 for the pair sound?

I noticed your Z4 is a 2006, there is a very high chance you have EWS 4.3. If thats the case then my hardware cannot read the module.

You can check by either using something like BMW Scanner 1.4 or remove the panel above the drivers peddles and the module is bolted to the inside of the wing.

Thanks

I'd be interested in a flip key for my 2006 z4 3.0si - is that doable?

Thanks

Dan

You will need to check what EWS version you have mate.

I have done late 2005 Z4,s, but there is a good chance bmw installed version 4.3 in the 2006 models.

If that's the case, then I assume 99% of Z4M owners will be out of luck too

Can you tell us how we check what EWS version we have?
